how do you go about getting your tonnsils removed I've been told for years by drs. and dentists that I need to but but idk where to go or who to talk to!?!

I would guess an ENT specialist would be your best bet.

have to get a referral from your doctor to go to the ENT. They told me for a year, i should get them removed and then finally did it haha

kind of frustrating. They usually say you cant get a referral unless youve gotten a certain amount of infections that its causing you to be on antibiotics for too long. it took me about 6 months to finally get them because i showed them how many times i was in the urgent care getting antibiotics. i was on medication for about a year, and it wasnt stopping
so my doctor said enough is enough. and finally gave me one. you just have to be very patient!!

but after the referral, the process was smooth. all you do is go to the ENT once the apt is made, then they look at you and give you a date for removal!
