What does it mean if a baby acts like she's hungry and routes but fusses or cries while trying to eat ?

I think you should talk to your doctor. My son did that and lactation said it was probably heartburn and he ended up having acid reflex! But try gas drops and see if she is fussy when you lay her flat

burping only helps sometimes. And she's gagged while eating usually not when she does this fussy thing @mrsmoore @edomke

My daughter does that too, she only likes one nipple

well I know one breast produces a lot the other not as much it seems I'm trying to relieve gas but idk seems calm lying upright on me

She could be gassy or have heartburn or not getting much out of your breast
