quick question, I know in order to get pregnant you have to been in ovulation, but after your first kid it is easier to get pregnant. so do you so have to get pregnant during ovulation, or can you get pregnant engender

I have PCOS & I don't get why I have to take birth control & metformin at the same time? isn't birth control supposed to stop you from ovulating & metformin is supposed to help you ovulate? This is so frustrating. I just want to be able to get pregnant..
