My sweet baby girl. I remember the day that I found out about you. I remember taking those 2 tests and barely being able to talk after they both came out positive. I stood in the bathroom shaking and wanting to scream, but I could barely even speak. I called for your daddy and he had the most terrified and excited look in his eyes that I had ever seen. He shook his head in disbelief, but he knew that our entire lives were about to change. I remember calling your Mimi and telling her that I had something very important for her to see, so she hurried to the house and came in, as I sat in the middle of the bathroom floor in tears, with the biggest smile on my face, she just looked at me. She knew instantly. She came in and saw the tests & could barely hold herself up. We both held each other and just cried. None of us could believe that after all the trouble mommy had with her endometriosis, God was going to be the amazing God that He is and bless us with a sweet little baby. I remember telling everyone and how excited they all were. I also remember the day we found out that you were a little girl. We were so shocked and daddy had been saying that he wanted a boy, but of course looking at him right now, he wanted you all along. So did I. I not only wanted you, but I needed you. I needed you to show me what it was like to love another human being as deeply as I love you. I needed you to make me a mommy and to fill my life with even more joy than my life was filled with.
