you ever wonder how can your doctor tell how dialated an effaced you are by just putting 2 fingers…

i checked myself a couple times. I learned how to on Google. when I realized I was touching the amniotic sac (a water balloon feel) I told my doctor the next day at my appt. now I can't do it anymore cause their scared ill break my water. when they check you if there is like a pucker feeling thing that means you have not dilated. if its soft that means your effacing, and if it feels like your sticking your hand in a elastic feeling thing that's how they can tell how dilated you are.

oh wow never knew an you can break your water that easy by just touching it??

Yeah. my first son the nurse used her fingernails to break my water. all She did was pinch it. lol

omg i would of never thought ive seen the placenta an it looks thick i was gonna check myself but im not know that ik, an if thats all it takes i wonder why the baby cant break it when they kick out strong an hard

mostly because the water breaks when the baby sends out a hormone or whatever I guess that breaks it. some babies have actually been born with the amniotic sac still intact . and some women's water doesn't even break til they are about ready to push. lol its all kind of weird I guess. haha

yes. the placenta comes out a little bit after the baby is born. lol

lol no its not weird. what's weird is that some women eat it. apparently its really good with breastfeeding and stuff.

I'm doing encapsulation with my placenta. it'll get dried out and made into pills for me. but it's got a lot of good stuff for you afterwards, and taking it in pills can help with baby blues. but if you think about it, it isn't that crazy to ingest it. most mammals ingest the afterbirth

no like if ik that its made out of something i will not eat it will not be in my mouth i dont even eat the dark parts of chicken. @olliesmom
