My lactation consultant said that while your feeding is prime time. Because it takes 20 mins for alcohol to reach your breastmilk and that it leaves your system in 2 hours.

@reaganmommy2015, @livd15 yeah I honestly only plan to have just a glass, just to relax a bit! But that's so great to hear! I'll just feed little guy first then have a glass. Also he eats every 4 hours so I should be fine by then!

You can have a glass and still breastfeed. If you're sober enough to drive, you're sober enough to breastfeed. That's the golden rule lol There's no set amount of hours it stays in your milk. It's basically whenever you feel sober and in you're right mind then you're good to BF

and u don't have to pump and dump it leaves ur milk like it leaves ur blood stream.

you don't have to pump and dump and you don't have to pump milk ahead of time my lactation consultant told me you can have wine if you don't feel buzzed or drunk afterwards your OK to feed your baby,iv done it and my son is fine 😊 she said there's no need to pump and dump after time alcohol content goes down you can look it up on LA leech a league

it takes 30-60 mins to reach ur milk and will stay up to an hour so u can have a glass right before or even while ur feeding and be good until the next feeding

You can always pump and save your milk for the baby for a few days and then have a drink

I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
