A lot of states still need to do a major update on their car seat laws. At a year old and 20 ibs is not safe for forward facing. Their spines isn't fully formed/fused together at one. Think it's time to change that.

agreed! still rear facing my almost 2 year old and plan on doing it as close to 4 as possible. she's smaller, so hoping we can rear face longer. (:

@laceduplove1661, I love hearing things such as this. I turned my 2.5 yr old at 2. He's a major chunk butt and extremely tall.

A lot are changing it to 2. Some people won't listen. Though I know way too many moms facing their kids before one because of weight
