so me and hubby picked out a nursery room set from babies r us when we found out we were having a little princess but soon after had to change it because we realized it would just be to much for us to be able to afford ($2127 before taxes) well today i get a call from my mom telling me to check the registry because it was saying nothing had been purchased when we already knew people had bought from it so i log on the computer all stressed out like what now! and see that she has purchased the entire bedroom set including the $500 bedding set that i wanted with it and i had to fight back so many tears cause im at work! idk how i could ever repay her the furniture set was not in the registry so idk how she got them to add it without my permission but she did and im just sooo amazed love my momma

Lol my husbands exact words only he is as bad as both of us.. But I'm my moms only girl and she seems to never want anyone to do more for me than her.... Especially my dad lol

@rhonda.otero, its justified cause its not our fault we learned from somewhere! but i really wasnt expecting her to get this set i was thinking she would probably buy the whole bedroom set for me i just figured it would be the cheaper one cause thats what was on my registry lol

Of course!! @aaquino! I haven't taken any pictures just yet because I was waiting for it to be completed but when I take some I will send some your way! It's pink, gray and white chevron print (bedding) and we have a monogram of her name on the wall! We just purchased a white cube bookcase to start her own library. We asked for books instead of gifts at our shower and it is almost filled already!

@nicole_jude, thats a great idea we did something a little similar with the books but we asked for instead of cards you bring your favorite book from your child hood and sign the inside with a message for her my shower is the 21st of this month so we will see how it turns out lol
