not really. it just tells you id youre dialated and effaced which could stay tye same for weeks on end. its not that big of a deal :) just have him do it next time

some doctors don't check you unless tou are showing signs of labor. my doctor doesn't check till 38 weeks or 39 weeks unless ive been having my mucous plug come out or blood with it or a lot of contractions. every doc is different

no problem, once you're in labor you won't want to get checked cuz its not comfortable so I would tell the nurse you don't want to be checked all the time just when you get there and when you get further into labor. especially if you are wanting to go naturally
