Yes her dad and I have the trait and she has the disease @junesmommy15 she hasn't had any complications and they say the issues start between 6 months to a year but I'm trying to go the natural route if she does have issues because unless she needs a blood transfusion or has a stoke all they gone do is pump her with pain medication and drugs which can have long term adverse effects on her organs n body smh

@chantebrandon, I never realized how they force vaccines on you I mean I've been late with my oldest never got as many calls from the doc they try to play on my heart strings with her having sicklecell saying oh she has to get this shot because it prevents menegitis which SCD ppl can catch easy and this b that it's crazy smh the scared me into the flu shot while pregnant never again will I be bullied into vaccines n hopefully I can home school her when the time comes I mean if we go out of country then I'll do the vaccines but I'm not in a rush when she's pretty much exposed to the same 5 ppl who are fully vaccinated

@junesmommy15, ok make sure you educate him on checking for the trait in his mates I thought I couldn't have kids n I wasn't told of how it works n I kind of forgot I had the trait but she's a blessing now I want her to have a sibling close in age but don't want to risk SCD n a baby who may have it worse smh it's a gamble to have kids I'm sure her dad may want to try for a son but I don't think I do I need to be able to be there for her if she has it bad smh
