My mom thought me to put a baby on their tummy and pat their back or bottom and it always puts them to sleep so I tried it on sophie and it worked but I can't leave her unattended lay n on her belly like that she is too small and when I pick her up to move her she wakes up.

You gotta be swift like a ninja!!! When you lay her on her back keep your body pressed against hers and then move away slowly while putting your hand on her belly and if she wakes up at all or makes a noise continue holding her and shushing her. Once you've gotten her on her back and she's still sleeping then you leave your hand there for a minute or two to make sure as really asleep. THEN you may leave lol.

I re read this and I think you mean you lie her down on her tummy. It works better if you do it while you're holding her so you can just put her down. I'm not sure how you can turn her over without waking her. Sorry haha.

@queendavis, It's a technique that is to be learned hahah. And sometimes they're too smart. But it works for the most part! Trying to explain it was making me giggle because the awkward position you are in when you're laying them down with your body pressed against theirs is too funny.
