I don't want to work anymore and my doctor won't take me out and I want to throw an absolute temper…

If your Dr prescribes no work, will you have to use your maternity leave time? I'm trying to work until I deliver so I can use the full 6 weeks after I give birth. I work full time, and it's getting tough. I can imagine how you feel at 38 weeks. :(

I work full time and get 6 weeks as well. From what I thought you would get disability starting when the baby is born. And time before would just be time with no pay but excused by a doctor. So many ladies have told me they got taken out for simply saying they want to or saying their back hurt. My doctor won't take me out @varduim

I didn't know that was an option. I guess your work would have no choice of you have a Dr's note. That sucks your Dr won't let you. Maybe you should play it up to make it seem harder than it is...

That's what I was told to do and I figured I'd just be honest...my doctor has been very hard on me my whole pregnancy I won't go back to her if I have another baby in my lifetime! @varduim

That really sucks. I've had mixed feelings about my own Dr, she's been really hard on me about weight gain, even though I've only gained 28 lbs so far. I got yet another lecture today and was referred to a nutritionist. 😣 Sorry you have to deal with that. I wish she would help you out a little!
