Has anyone had a hard time putting there newborn down to sleep? I love just letting him sleep on my chest which albeit makes taking a nap or just doing practically anything a bit of challenge. I just feel this need to be super close and wondering if anyone is or has experienced this. Oh, he's only 10 days old.

@kibella22, I thought it would get easier as he got older to put him down but I guess not!

Me! I'm still like that and she's two months already. But the past week I've been putting her down to sleep in her bassinet from 1030pm till 3 am and then she cries and I pick her up and sleep with her. It's hard not to! I feel like I need her close to me as much as she needs me 🤗♥️

That's how I was with my first child, I held him all day everyday and he always slept on me! I just think it's a new mommy thing. The dishes will always be there, the laundry will always be there, all the chores will always be there, but that baby is only a baby for a short little while. Enjoy it while it lasts and just cuddle that baby as much as you can! 😊💙

@modifiedmermom, you're right, to be nestled against mommy feels awesome to them but I worry about not being able to be apart from him. Like say if I just wanted to go take a walk to have a moment by myself.

Don't worry about getting things done right now. Enjoy him and yes I went through it so I put him in his rock and play right next to me when I really needed sleep
