How often do you bathe your newborn? I give my daughter a daily bath, but I've been told that's too much. Opinions?
My baby's doc said to do every other day at the MOST. Babies don't get very dirty and their skin is so sensitive. She said if baby gets a bath every other day, only wash with water and only wash with soap once a week.
@lp1988727, what are you doing for her eczema. My son is getting it on his face. I've been outing coconut oil on it and it looked old better. I'm also going to make a homemade oatmeal lavender body wash I saw on Pinterest.
that's the same thing people told me, it was excessive. but I bathed her everyday as well. it was ok& like everyone else stated just watch baby's skin.
I give my son a bath every night so he sleeps well, I've never heard of not being able to give them a bath whenever you wanted.. Unless otherwise by a doctor because of skin issues.. My son is completely fine and he loves his baths💛 do as you want and feel is right mommy 💁🏼
oh and my kids have eczema too so just watch out for your baby's skin
three days a wk or when they tend to get dirty sooner of course but not to often due to their sensitive skin will dry up fast...
I've always taken kaine a bath every other day ever since he was a newborn
Every two days sometimes, every other day usually when she was a newborn.
Too many baths can dry out there skin. I used to bathe my daughter every other days and other days I just wiped her face and stuff.
as long as you watch her skin to make sure it's not drying out you can give a bath daily. I give Sadie a both almost daily some days I forget or don't feel like it. I think mostly people give babies baths every other day
My doctor told me when my daughter is born to bathe her every other day for the first few months.

What age did u ladies decide to take your children from a baby bath into the actual bath? She's still in her baby bath but it's getting a bit tight in there lol
baby shampoo etc.
What type of bath products will you momma's be using?
I've been putting aquafor and coconut oil. Has been helping. I wash him with cetaphil wash for now instead of Johnson and Johnson. I'm going to make a oatmeal wash with lavender. Then I'll try the eucerin. Thank you. @lp1988727
