@blessedw7, sad part is not many will have the 10 thousand dlls to untie them, nor many will be successful like we were. I had mine tied at 21 w 3 kids, your life changes so much so those your body. Doctors don't really informed them on the side effects your body, will have. She's right not everyone has regrets I TOO WAS 100 percent no more babies for me.

People will say you will regret your decision, well not me. I'm 44 didn't think I was no longer able to have kids and here he is. Got the c section and tying of the tubes at the same time. No regrets but everyone is different.

Personally I wouldn't make that decision just yet cause you might change you mind and that's a lot for your body to go through. But at the end of the day it's up to you. My sister always got the shot and she never got pregnant and she didn't have a period either :) just an option. But don't let me or anyone else tell you otherwise. I'm just giving my opinion. At the end of the day it's your body your life <3

Just cuz you had regrets doesn't mean everyone has/will. There is many reasons why people get there tubes tied. But if anyone is not 100% sure if they want to then they deff shouldn't. I was told an IUD lasts 10 years, that's a good chunk of time!

My sister got hers at 24 after 3 kids....I dint think they let you do it if you only have 1 without going through counseling

There is also many different ways they "tie tubes", so everyone's experience is different.

Just letting you know...my best friend had her tubes tied 3 years ago...well she just went through a miscarriage last week. Apparently her tubes grew back together.

I'm 30, this is baby #4 and I'm getting tied 4 weeks after I have him.... every state is different, just Google your state laws.

I no a friend who got hers at 23 after two kids. I plan on doing the same after my next born.
