Okay for the ladies that have kids that are potty trained or going through it. How do I get my 5year old to quit peeing the bed? She was doing good when I had a potty chair in her room but I took it out cause I'm potty training her lil sister. Sence I took it out she's just staying in bed and peeing on herself so I gotta give her a bath every morning and clean her room every day and im tired of that crap... She's to lazy or something to open the door and go to the damn bathroom which is 5 steps away from her room! I'm about to put the baby in there and I don't want it smelling like pee all the time. Really pisses me off badly! I need your alls help please give me some advice on how to quit this!

my daughter has the same problem. She's 7 now and still has accidents. I talked to her doctor about it and they said it could be a variety of things from stress to her having tummy problems. I started buying good nights for her. But they had me give her something to help her poop regularly (one of her tummy problems) because if they're constipated ot can put pressure on their bladders and make them have to pee more frequently. I've also read online about a mix of oils you can rub on their feet to help prevent accidents. I haven't tried it so I'm not sure how much it works. I know it can be frustrating but just remember that it's frustrating and embarrassing for her too. Some kids legitimately can't help it. Maybe ask her doctor what they think?

В ожидании первенца
I have a boy so it maybe a lil different! I cut him off as far as drinking anything aft dinner and his snack which was normally by 7 and his bedtime was 8-830...so b4 bed I made him pee. I also sometimes woke him up n the middle of the nite like b4 I went to bed which is normally around 11ish to see if he had to pee. After a while he got the hang of it.

@february2016, is her path to the bathroom lit up at night.....things can look very different to kids at night just a suggestion my daughter would not get out of bed at night because of some of the shadows she would see when she got up to attempt to use the bathroom

@jayswife05 this is a good one. we have to keep a night light in the hallway in between the girls room so they can see or they'll wake us every time. But OP I would just limit her drink intake leading to bed time. Nothing to drink after a certain hour and make her go before she goes to bed. That could be the first step.

Idn get her over night's to save yourself from having to clean the bed and etc. Some kids pee the bed in there sleep and it's because there bladder hasn't matured fast enough. It runs in my family and my son did it for a while but has since grown out of it. Maybe ask her why she does it, it could be beyond her control. Just food for thought.

she goes before bed lol thats what gets me and I have cut her drinks to none after 6. she goes to bed at 8. I have a light in the livingroom and the hall way and the bathroom on all night... so she shouldn't have a problem seeing or anything. I did have the potty chair in her room and she was using it I guess ill have to put it back in there at night or wake her before I go to bed. thanks ladies.
