I'm so stuck.. My daughter became super fussy and crying a lot after we switched her to similac advance so I got her gripe water and gas drops to help. It did a little for the most part. I decided to try similac sensitive and although she isn't very fussy, every night at the same time she makes all these weird grunting noises like she needs to poop or fart. I give her gas drops still but I don't think it's helping & she only does this at that one time. She's even asleep for it but now I don't know what's wrong. I can't sleep when she's doing this because she's so loud and it last until I pick her up and rub/pat her back

@emiliasmommy15, yeah true. She has no problem passing gas. Before we switched she seemed to be getting constipated and I thought that was the problem again but she popped yesterday then still woke up with the same issue. Hopefully it passes because I feel like no matter what I try for her it fails
Bt if its not bothering her much then maybe like i said jst keep an eye on her and it might jst pass
Well then maybe shes fine? It might jst be a phase? My daughter would have more gas pains at night then during thr day with the similac sensitive bt like i said i jst stuck with it and she did fine after a while bt thats just my baby cz my dr didnt want me to switch so soon without 2/3wks passing. I wanted to cz my god she would look like shes in pain when she tries to fart.. Bt it all passed. So maybe jst keep an eye out on her and see how it goes ? She might get better if not then maybe u should call the dr n see what the dr suggests
@emiliasmommy15, thank you. I almost wonder if I should've just stayed with the same kind I was on. I can't her different formula from wic unless the dr gives me a prescription so that's why I tried the sensitive before calling to switch. I don't see much of a change though except her issue through the night. It doesn't seem to bother her too much. She might cry out once or twice but doesn't wake up
It takes awhile for them to adjust to the change it took my daughter close to 2wks to adjust frm breastmilk to similac sensitive bt then she stopped having problems. She seems very gassy at first or looked like she needed to poop bt i found it was all gas so gripe water helped me alot. I actually found tht the gas drops made it worse on her. I know its tough bt if u really think there is something wrong call her dr and explain whats been going on maybe the dr will suggest another formula. I also kno Enfamil formulas are less harsh on babies tummies. I know how it is mama hang in there or like i said call ur dr if u rly think its bothering her bad.
I kno how u feel bt dont think that! Shes jst so tiny and is still getting used to this world and everything! I kno its hard mama bt hang in there it will be okay and it will pass
