get the new 3ds and play it with him!!! Its fun and 2 player and probably the best $30 you will spend on a game these days, it lasts forever and is a fun challenge. I play with my husband all the time 😁

to be honest, I use my 3ds more now. Monster Hunters 4 is the shit!
