So I went to the docs yesterday. She really thinks I have polycystic ovary syndrome. I will be going for blood work to check for that and to see if there's something wrong with my thyroid. If I test positive for PCOS I'll be referred to another doctor who I guess will try and regulate my periods so it's easier to conceive our rainbow baby. I lost my baby 8/1/15 and have yet to have a period and it's been 12 weeks. But I did find out when I was going through the miscarriage that I do have a cyst on my ovary. Can any mommas give me advice on polycystic ovary syndrome or conceiving when you have it (I heard it's harder to get pregnant with it)?
I lost my first baby at 8-10 weeks. but when I got with my s/o we got pregnant pretty quick.. so I'm hoping once things regulate it happens again .
from what I was told when they thought I had it.. it's treated with a diabetic type medication and doing a diabetic diet can be helpful. I didn't stick with it long cause I didn't end up having it.
I have PCOS and was put on metformin for it and birth control to regulate my periods. The metformin helped me a lot. I am now expecting my first baby girl in March (was a complete suprise, I missed a few pills and now here I am pregnant lol). They told me it would be hard for me to get pregnant.
I'm hoping you conceive soon. Good luck!!
