Any advice on how I can get my newborn to sleep through the night and be awake during the the day?

newborns shouldn't sleep through the night they need to wake to feed every 2 to 3 hours.

@eskawho, I know that but he literally stays awake all night.. and sleeps all day long.

It might take him a bit to get used to night and day...eventually he will figure it out...just make sure to try your best to keep him awake during the day...but right now he's going to sleep alot, mine did at that age. eventually she figured it out.

It's gonna take time. Do your best to keep your baby stimulated and entertained more during the day, baby obviously won't sleep all night now and will still sleep a lot during the day but that'll help start a pattern
