@tayek, I'm gonna have to I'll go crazy if I don't see them. @nurseriri in the doctors orders they state to reduce slowly after two months and well instead of reducing slowly the dropped him really low

@mommyof2angelboys, sorry to hear what happened. We nurses don't change orders. Doctors do and we follow the orders or we can advocate for patients and let the doctor know it's not a good idea to change meds frequency. Good luck and be well

You have a heart of gold @mommyof2angelboys 💖 Even from a distance, you'll still light up their lives. Visit in your scrub top so they might recognize you easier. Look at it this way--as a visitor you can spend time cooing and singing and generally loving on them (as much as they allow--I had one I could sing to but I could only touch her hands) versus having to curb the love for daily care.

yeah I know. its just so hard. I love them all so much! and hate that I'm their only sunshine and I have to do it from a distance.... I love my unit so much. I cried my eyes out when I got home last night because I found out the reason that he attacked me is the nurse felt it was okay to reduce his antipsychotic drugs from 4times a day to once a day @tayek

I understand. I was a CNA for a while after high school. I used to be wary of leaving them at shift's end. You could visit them so you keep in touch! They'd like that. It'd be good for you to make sure you see them, and from my experience most dementia patients don't get a ton of visits. @mommyof2angelboys you can still be their sunshine, just from a safer vantage point for your baby.

@tayek, yes but when working dementia care you never know who will be there when you return. and I have 8 on the verge of going home to be with god

This chick that works with my boyfriend really confessed her love to my man and then went into tears when he rejected her. (Mind you, he works in a kitchen and tells everyone about me and the fact that I’m pregnant and how excited he is to have a son.) Apparently she’s started to cause him problems at work and getting jealous when he talks other females, me included😂 Like this hoe really tried it😩😂🤪

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

1
ekko I see both sides. However, if you both work and him taking off one day isn’t going
2sweetie I’ve never asked my husband to take a day off when I’m sick. I just deal with
boymama523 He gets the choice to call off if he’s overwhelmed or sick. You (all us mommas) don’t.
