first night with baby home, he's kinda fussy probably because he was circumcised today before they released him and probably also because of that stupid schedule the hospital put him on for his feedings, like wtf who does that, he is a week old he's going to eat when he's hungry not follow a stupid schedule, but the schedule has totally messed up his sleeping pattern, ughhhhh, its infuriating im a FTM who just had a c-section 6 well now 7 days ago because it's 3:32 am here, so getting up and down is still very difficult for me, plus I'm exhausted and the incision hurts no matter if I take the percocets I was prescribed for the pain, my fiancé is asleep next to me because he has a doctor appointment tomorrow so he needs some rest, just wish I could close my eyes and get some sleep without 1 worrying something was going to happen to my son while I'm sleeping and I was in too deep of a sleep to hear him and 2 without being in horrible pain that makes me want to cry

Motherhood is tons of fun. This is the shit people don't tell ya about during pregnancy. Can you take Tylenol instead of the narcotics? Keep your baby close (in bed probably isn't the best option) but that way you're guaranteed to wake up to him. I like the scheduled feeds but it could be because my baby a preemie and he's stuck in the hospital. Either way, the first couple weeks after the c section is rough but one day you'll realize you didn't notice the pain all day long and that's when things get better. As far as the circumcision goes, of his pediatrician gave the OK for it, use baby Tylenol & he'll be better in a few days to a week (if I remember correctly.) Good luck mama!

it's like I read my life all over again just that I have a girl... when u get up hold on to your incision and instead up getting up like a sit up slide to your side and turn tore your chest to the bed and get up that way holding your incision you don't feel a thing. I went home the second day being In the hospital I hope it gets better for you hun

Do you have a boppy it might help while feeding the baby as well as a rock and sleep might help the baby can be right next to you and he is just a little cranky but it will go away in 2-3 days as it starts to heal
