What should I expect for my first appt since it's just all blood work the first time? Nervous as all hell. I can handle tattoos but I hate having to get shots or giving blood or anything like that.. So any advice?

they take lots of blood do a pap and take urine sample

i had to give 8 viles of blood, pee, and they didnt do the pap until my second appointment so i would feel more comfortable with them! every doctor is different! I almost passed out while giving the blood :/ but after a while of goving blood, youll get use to it! i HATE needles.

Not all doctors do a pap. Most will give you paper work to go to the lab for the blood work. Yes they'll take urine, prob at every appt. you'll talk to your doctor they'll ask you questions and you'll leave lol

They test for infections and other stuff (not sure what else lol they just tell me to leave a sample and they test for infections)

Well.. I can't handle needles.. But they take about... 9 little viles of blood. To check for STD's and anything else they may find. Also to guarantee you're surely pregnant. Lol. And they did an internal ultrasound on me my first pregnancy.
