Outta curiosity my doctor told me that if I'm around people smoking weed I can catch contact and come out positive for weed. Is this true? Has anyone came out positive for weed from being around people who smoked? And I'm not talking about being next to someone while they puff down but in the same room/car as them?

yes 100% true. if your around people who smoke weed even if your not pregnant you can get contact high and it will show up on a drug test

I'm gonna have to say false! Because I smoked weed uo until 20 weeks and then stopped, but my bf still did and he'd blow smoke in my face, hot box our room, we'd go to a friends house where 5-6 people would .be smoking in a room and making it cloudy af and id be chillen and I never got contact high, nor did I fail a drug test because of it and this was everyday I was around it!

I guess my doctor was saying that to scare me.. I was nervous because I stopped smoking at like 26 or 27 and I'm scared I'll still be positive when I give birth. like my doctor said they don't test the platenca for drugs but I heard they do. I'm like going crazy over here @princessveronica

I smoked later on around 30-32 weeks and had a drug test at 35 and it was clean! So you'll be fine, our bodies are cycling stuff out really fast right now. I know that because I failed my very first initial drug test and then passed 3 more they are sending social services when my son is born.. but I know the both of us will be clean. I believe they drug test the baby not the placenta. I'm going crazy to because that just freaks me out that because of my very first drug test I now have to deal with social services.. I'm like I was clean every drug test after that it's not fair!! but all will be fine! I think your Dr was just trying to scare you.!

I failed every drug test due to weed. social services came to my house and spoke to me and my husband and then shortly closed the case. I was going to a clinic for the longest and I'm pretty sure every drug test came out positive. I finally switched to a private doctor and took drug test two half weeks ago and I'm pretty sure that was negative. well see when I go back Tuesday I'm sure there gonna tell me my results and if I take another one 110% it'll be negative unless I caught contact which I personally never heard of..
