So I had my son 3 weeks ago via c-section and I had a question for c-section moms. I have been getting huge head aches everyday they hurt so bad behind my eyes and my jaws ache from the pain. Is this normal or are these the headaches that they warn you about when you get an epidural? I need some type of answers it's hard taking care of a newborn and this makes it even harder. I do have an appointment tomorrow I just want to know if this is normal.

Are you breastfeeding?? I had very similar headaches and my doctor said it was from the "hunched over" position you tend to have while breastfeeding. Otherwise I'm not sure!

@mlmckeeth, not breastfeeding. I wish I could've breastfed him but my bed is on the floor and I do feed him on the bed in a hunched position.

I think the epidural headaches are usually within the week of delivery but not 100%. try dribbling more water and like ^^^^said watch your posture.

It might have something to do with that, but definitely talk to your doctor about it. I got the spinal with my c-section and wasn't told about anything similar to the "epidural headache," but you never know! Hope you feel better soon sweetie! Stay hydrated and take some ibuprofen until your appointment 😘
