Concerned about how much milk I "should" be producing right now. My daughter will be 7 weeks old on Tuesday, she nurses frequently throughout the day and if I get a chance to pump is usually between 2:00 and 4:00 AM, while she's sleeping. Normally if I'm "full" because she hasn't eaten in three hours or so, I get a good 5-6 ounces out of both my breasts combined. Is this enough, or should I be producing more by now? What are other mommy's with a child around my daughter's age producing? Thanks in advance!!! 😘

That sounds good to me.

I'm pumping exclusively for my preemie in the nicu; he'll be 6 weeks old on Tuesday and I get anywhere from 1-4oz on each side during each pump. There's no "set" amount I get. The other day I got 210ml of during one pump, the next I got 55ml total. I'd say you're doing pretty well if you're getting that much AND able to feed your baby as well.
