Group b step is a bacteria found in the vagina & rectum it can cause a fatal infection in a newborn so they screen for it at I forgot how many weeks but I think it's in the 30 range if you test positive they put you in antibiotics while in labor

It's a bacteria in the vagina that some women carry. It does not harm to you but it will to your newborn.
