I wish I could hold my twins In longer but my doc said the most 37weeks

I'm new to all this. How long does women have to go before they have their baby? 37 weeks or longer.

37 is considered full term

37 weeks and under is premature. over 37weeks is full term. had my son at 37 weeks and they "labeled" him a preemie. had my twins at 29 weeks. they were in the NICU 6 weeks. and are now healthy 8 yr olds. we're TTC again and I pray I make it to at least 38 or 39 weeks. those last weeks are so uncomfortable, but vital for the babies healthy development. which we sadly saw first hand. and something I hope we never have to go thru again.

37 weeks is actually early term. You aren't full term until you hit 39 weeks.
