You need to dialate to 10 cm before you can actually push, if thats what you mean?

You can be dilated for weeks and not going into labor

Yeah I've been 80% effaced since then too. Even though it's hard to wait it's best for your baby.

yes I'm anxious to have my baby already but I want him to ok and don't have any problems at birth. So I'm just gonna have extra rest. What are things that may cause you to dilate so I won't do them, cause I'm still not ready yet so many more things to buy..
