How to Protect Your Photos Online? Google's Drag-and-Drop Feature
For anyone afraid of the use of their photos online, Google has a feature that allows you to drag and drop images to see where they are posted. You can also watermark. But just a warning, if you post ANYTHING on the internet unless its encrypted you cant guarantee it is being safely transmitted. If you post on a public forum, Instagram, facebook, twitter, etc you no longer have control of that data. The data is now on the servers of the public domain you shared it. The only way to completely prevent this is not to have a social media presence on the internet. Just some pointers from an IT background, posting info about our LO and documenting pregnancy can be scary

We will add that you cannot search this community from the internet. However anyone can search posts on baby center, what to expect and the bump without registering.

@sarahemccormick, not that i saw. But some preggies were expressing fear. Figured i would drop a little IT knowledge. @amber.s95, good plan. You may also want to do that to any picture you have online. Do transparent watermarks so it cant be photoshopped. Also watermarks dont prevent people from downloading but it can stop from stealing your identity.

Thank you for posting this. If you don't want people to see or " steal" just don't post. It sucks this is the world we live in.

Thanks I'm checking these sites now... Someone once used one of my sons pictures claiming he was there son. One of my Instagram followers saw it, screen shot and commented saying this isn't your son and I had to get all my followers to report her in order for her account to be blocked and all my accounts are private... :( she wasn't even a follower so someone else I'm sure has the picture somewhere
