She is wrong!!!! Lol! Baby is surrounded by water anyway (amniotic fluid) only way she could "drown" the baby is if her water broke and she's in labor lol.

I never heard that...I took baths late in pregnancy...it helped the swelling in my legs and feet...Dr recommend it as I'm not much of a bath person

@anim, thank god lol I was hoping I wasn't the dumb one.. Well I'm kinda dumb for getting worried about it as my bath is filling up!! Lol but if your water breaks in the bathtub and you get out you would be okay right?? @anim

Oh yeah you will! People have water births all of the time. And no you're not dumb! Everything little thing worried me and still does even though I have my baby! 😊

omg. lol. yes you can take a bath during your whole pregnancy. you can even labour in a tub after your water breaks as long as the water doesn't turn your skin red or hotter than your body temp. just wow. babys don't take their first breath until their skin hits air, you can't drown your baby before that.

I will say though, you shouldn't use any scented soaps or bubbles because some water can sneak inside, it could irritate your vagina and cause some swelling. be mindful and don't use anything you wouldn't use on a baby :) enjpy your bath momma, I just did!

Lol, I took an hour long bath almost everyday the last week I was pregnant and my baby never drowned. My doctor told me to just not take a bath once my water breaks because of the risk of infection.
