if you think you have time it's best to go to your hospital that already has your birth plan. call an ambulance if you think you can't make it in your own car. a different hospital may not have a nursery or the proper means to birth a baby.
I went to the hospital of my choice on my labor day and the hospital denied me and told me I was register at a different hospital. they wouldn't see me.
