if you've never been a victim of domestic violence than you should keep your opinions to yourself. many women are aware of heir situation but you being ignorant when they vent bc its the only place they feel safe enough to vent makes you look like an ass period.

5 yr victim, been out for 4. & life is so much better, but getting out was the hardest thing ive ever done.

I've been through it got out thank god I'm in a happy relationship now but that past still affects me and I'd only feel ok to vent on here idt by bf would understand or would take it wrong same with other,I just regret not getting the jerk in trouble I think about how stupid it was for me not to reach out and tell makes me feel terrible ...
