are bumbo seats worth it thinking of buying this used mint colored one for 12 bucks?

I wouldn't buy one. I think they are ONLY okay when used for a few mins here and there. When children are placed in the Bumbo before they are developmentally ready for sitting it can interfere with the natural progression of skills. Bumbo Seats prevent babies from engaging in natural movements important for their development.

Yea I would just get him a high chair. I got one given to me that attaches to the chairs at our table so it's not like taking up huge space & I love it!

mine never fit and he wasn't even that chunky

Honestly no mine was given to me & son only used it a hand full of times because he was just so chunky that his legs hardly fit in it I felt like it was too tight because when I would pick him up out of it I have to pry it off of him lol

my son loves his bumbo I bought his used it came with the tray but we don't use the tray unless I'm allowing his to feed himself something

I would recommend just sitting them against a boppy pillow when they start to sit up on their own. This way they are getting the practice of doing it on their own with minimal assistance.

My daughter loves hers. I have the tray that attaches to it and she will sit there and play with her toys.

I wouldn't. They've shown adverse affects on babies development.
