My water broke like this. And I didn't experience contractions.

my water broke at 3:45 am and I didn't start having contractions until 12:00 and they had to induce me and that's what started contractions. so it could very well be your water. do the fluids have a smell?

@sophiesmom7, nope. No color. No smell. And I laid down for a few and then stood up(something my nurse told me to do months ago) and nothing more came out. I'm thinking it was just discharge. Maybe from taking such a warm shower and my body relaxing?

@ilovebeingyourmommy, how far along were you? I'll be 36 weeks Monday. Just had an appointment last Monday and I wasn't dialated either.

I was 39 weeks . But before that happened I had some discharge. so it could be that

@livd15, no more leaking but I'm having some pretty painful cramps. But they aren't coming in waves. They're pretty constant so idk if it's contractions or not!

wtf ! drink some water and if doesn't change call l&d! I cramp when I'm dehydrated but u never know what it could be !
