very intense cramps, imagine the worst period cramps you have ever gotten that increase in pain and then it eases up

contractions are pains that water or putting your legs up on a flat surface, walking, or laying on your left side can't change... they become closer and stronger and should last up to 2 hours about 3-5 min apart.. and it gets pretty hard for you to even talk.. that's what I've read.. I never had them just Braxton hicks because the pain I was getting from my daughter was because she was pushing down in a weird position in the wrong place causing me a dead leg and super bad back pain.
