I was induced on my due date, went in at 8pm and at midnight they gave me cervadil to start dilation. They came at like 6am and took it out it didn't really help and they gave me pitocin. They broke my water like 30 min later and I was at 4 cm, I got the epi cause pitocin is no joke lol, labored for hours and puked a few times. At like 6-something pm they said my cervix was swelling (I made it to 9cm) and that I needed a csection. So she was born at 6:37pm. I was liking during my csection and my epi started to wear off while stitching so I felt that, it was a sucky situation but my baby girl was worth iu

I was and honestly it was a great easy experience for me after the second round of whatever they used to start induction i was in labor for about 6 hours and active labor for less than 3 but I would go for the epidural it helped with the pain a lot I didn't feel anything after that

I was induced with my son and my experience was ok. only uncertainty is how long labor will be since everyone's body is different. also I was told to eat a nice meal before my appt since they don't allow eating during active labor. good luck

I was induced 3 days before my due date because of hight BP. when I went in they went iver paper work with me and explained things to me then they did a check on my cervix and inserted the cervidil( was a little uncomfortabl to be put in not bad though) normally that stays in for 12 hours ( I only needed mine for 6) it thinned my cervix quick and when they inserted it I was about 1cm. I never had to do the iv patocine which helps induce the labor my body kind of took over and I didnt end up needing it. the best advice i have for you is try and get some sleep tonight and rest eat a healthy breakfast a half hour before. try to stay relaxed through it all and remember momma your body knows what to do trust it! plus in the end you get to meet your little one!! My bd has two other kids with two different women he said they were both induced and had their babies in a little over an hr.. I really hope it's fast. I am all ready dilated to 1 and my cervix is very thin Dr said she can touch the babies head it's so low.
