Random question....are you supposed to have a full bladder when going for the 20 week ultrasound?

I go to the doctors office with a full bladder because I never have to pee when they make me do a urine sample. I say no only because that'll make you uncomfortable when the tech does the ultrasound on ya.

I held it and had a full bladder to get there and tell me I didn't need to.

My dr is telling me I need to drink 24 oz of water an hour before the ultrasound.

Go with a full bladder. It's easier to empty your bladder than it is to fill it up. That's my motto lol

They told me it was best to have it where you have to pee. I had to drink 2 cups of ice water BC she didnt want to move right
