Is it bad that I don't really want family to come the first week with baby? I just feel like i want some time for my husband and I to bond with her. I know everyone is going to give me their input on how I'm suppose to take care of her. Idk am I overthinking it?
I feel the same way.. When I told my fiancé I don't want his family coming up here (they were planning to stay at a hotel close by) and he doesn't seem to understand I want it to be JUST US with our new baby. I talked to my mom about it and she said the best way to try to keep people away is just saying you're tired or the baby is sleeping and what not. When she had my brother, if anyone came over she'd say she was tired and go into her room and that was that. Maybe this can work for you? And I'm sure if you tell everyone you want time to bond with baby, they'll hopefully understand. Good luck mama
That's understandable. Say it though. People will still come but atleast you cut the number down.
So how do you tell them without them feeling offended?
I'm the same way. I want it to be just us for the first week or so.
I completely understand, that's how I feel too. I don't want people coming over and taking my son out of my hands when I just want to bond with him
me and my baby daddy are doing that only people we want around is our daughters god parents.
No, I think that's perfectly normal and understandable. I bet more people would do that if they didn't get so much pressure from fam to see the baby right away.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I said the same thing I want the first month with my baby to myself
