Alright I am freaking the fuck out right now I was diagnosed bi polar after I got sober and was taking Klonopin for the first part of my pregnancy and quit as soon as I talked to my doctor and she said it wasn't a good idea to take them anymore will my baby come up positive and will they take my baby? I'm absolutely about to lose my shit right now having a heart attack! I've tested negative and never came up positive for that only thc in the beginning of my pregnancy. No judging please
@lailanotlayla, the doctor I went to his office is closed he closed down a few months ago and it was an old prescription and I don't remember if it was him or the hospital that prescribed me it I'm just totally freakin out that what if I don't find out who because I turned in the bottle to be wasted when I found out and that was the worst idea ever!
So you did or did not smoke pot in the beginning? I've heard that anything you do past 15 weeks will show up in the babys meconium. But if you were prescribed the klonopins like you said you will be COMPLETELY fine. It would be different if you just bought them off the street
Yea but it was from a while ago I don't remember who prescribed me it@just9monthsx3
You had a prescription right? If so I wouldn't worry at all. It does stay in your system longer depending on which test they choose to use. @angelbaby232004
It only takes a couple days to leave your system. You're fine. I promise.
The hospital should have records of it. Doesn't matter if you don't remember your prescriber. Clonopin would come up as a benzo. But if you haven't taken it since early in pregnancy you're fine.
But the prescription was super old and I don't know if I could get my hands on it because I don't remember who prescribed it when I was in the hospital.
And the baby or you wouldn't still test positive. The only way they could tell would be testing the entire placenta. And they won't.
It'll be on your medical record no matter where you went
