That's a good suggestion @chela915 At this point someone will be disappointed. Dang this is a hard one. Or let your husband be at the top by your head and mom be behind the dr not actually touching you.

He should respect that you want her there an your right there roles are diff when I was in labor my bf was there an that made me feel better but Iy moms who got me through it all like my coach... He should respect that you want your mom in there he's being super selfish that's not ok I get where he is coming from but still like everyone has said maybe make him realize she has a different role than what he will be doing.

don't take it personal but I feel him cause it should just be you and him in a room and then after you have the baby then everybody else should be able to come in that's just my opinion
