Thank you! I know I just feel guilty if I don't give breast feeding a shot cause it is best for baby..but there is nothing wrong with formula feeding either..I'm going to pump for as long as I can but he may end up on formula if it keeps causing issues :/ @lp1988727

What is power pumping..pumping all the time? Because he won't latch..he prefers the bottle and will not latch on so I have to pump like every 2 hours @steph11

breastmilk digests faster to. that's why he may seem that way it's a very bad idea to power pump when he's a week old

they also want to feed for comfort that young. plus his stomach size is increasing so he will gradually want more

He isn't on the breast though..he only latched for a day and then he wouldn't I've been exclusively pumping so I know he's getting enough cause he gets my milk in a bottle @tae23

Thats his way of telling your body to make more milk. and he wants the breast for more reasons than just feeding

well if you want to bf the problem with supplementing is baby can't tell your body to make more milk because he's getting milk else where. so if you want to ebf feed baby while supplementing for another week or so but pump for a few min after to tell your body to make more like

Yeah everyone tells me to stick with breast milk because it's better but the formula seems to make him so much happier..like I've been breast feeding during the day and he seems restless and hungry all the time..like u said its every 30min-1hr it really is exhausting and doesn't seem to doing him good..I'll give him formula once or twice at night time and he will sleep peacefully and be full so I'm really thinking about just doing formula..idk I'm gonna talk to his doctor on Friday and see what she thinks..but thank you that makes me feel better that mine isn't the only one! @emiliasmommy15

My daughter was the same way n then i jst switched to formula.. Some say it was a bad choice but u kno wt i got so exahusted of her being on my boob 24/7 and i couldnt do it anymore... Bt shes 3months old now and shes formula fed and shes a happy baby☺️☺️ maybe continue it for a while and see how things go?? Also babies when theyr little they EAT alot.. So ur milk might be okay its just tht they eat alot at a slower pace .. My daughters thing was she ate for like 10min n thts it n then would b hungry again 30min to an hr later. Soo like i said i jst couldnt handle it anynore... N she wouldnt take my milk when id pump, she wouldnt drink the breastmilk out of the bottle no way.. Bt u do wt u think is best mama.! Dont let anyone of us influence u☺️

I mix breastmilk and formula to fill up my baby
