Well, I just saw a really cool opportunity, and I figure why not take it? My county is in dire need of substitute and regular teachers. You don't even have to have gone to school to be an educator to be a teacher here apparently. As long as you have an Associates Degree and 60+ credit hours, they want you. I am a Paralegal with 95 credit hours and an Associates. Looks like I will be sending my application in tomorrow. I would adore working with tiny kids, like Preschool through 2nd grade!

Thanks girl! I made a bad decision to go to school for law when that was never where my heart was at. I only did it to spite my father who said I couldn't make it in the legal field. lol i showed him😂 Seriously though, I wish I'd have gone to medical school or school to become a teacher.

That's how it is in California now too because they're in such dire need of teachers. And @bgabby my sister lives in Texas and is a teacher, and she actually told me that soon they'll be making it like this in Texas too because as well they're in need of teachers.

Lol, yeah I totally understand. I have a mass comm. degree, in spite of my father's urging to go to med school. Live and learn I suppose. 😁
