@bashlilymommy92 he's 5 weeks old now, but the doctors told me being born at 29 weeks is the cut off for it. I was talking to moms on a preemie page on Facebook and they said there's an exception to that rule; if your baby needed a certain amount of oxygen for a certain amount of days then they qualify, but I don't know the specifics of it. My son never needed a ventilator, was on cpap for less than a day & was off the nasal cannula by day 3 so it seems like if babies have normal/ok lung function then they don't need the shot.

I've done that as well as call the health department and child step first. No ones giving me the information I need thanks. I'm trying to figure out whose gotten one and how to get it for her

you cant ask these moms if your child need a shot your pediatrician said she needs it ... go online or start asking around where they do the procedure at
