He got his first two bottom ones when he was 5 months old then right after those poped up he got his top ones he's just now slowing down he looked like he was about to get two more on the bottom but it doesn't look like they're ready to come through anymore. He only grinds his teeth when they are right about to pop & he does it during the day only he doesn't grind them at night

Maybe that is it because he doesn't do it all the time so maybe it is just when they are coming up . when did your son get his first tooth? @aek91

My son grinds his teeth too I noticed when he was about 6 months old I think it's just because they are teething & it hurts when they're coming out I'm not sure, but I can't get my son to stop he's about to be 10 months on the 5th of November he has 8 teeth 4 on top & 4 on the bottom. I notice that when he has teeth that are about to come through he grinds his teeth .

@shortizzie, he has so many chew toys of all shapes and sizes lol. Aw your daughters just a little one. feels like my son was just born and yes gonna be 9 months soon :(

Yes, she's had her 2 bottom teeth since 4 1/2-5 months but her top two just popped through the end of last month. It's just then getting used to it! I hate it as well, it's awful. 😥

He doesn't do it while he's asleep only awake

You can't. My daughter just started doing it at 9 months, and I've already asked there's nothing you can do. Her doctor said let it be she'll grow out of it. The sound drives me insane but I try to distract her.

I don't have kids and idk if it is a way 2 make them stop 2 of my brothers a 9yr old and 7yr old they still do it in their sleep
