Men need to know how you feel. They can't read minds, tell him how you feel. He'll probably have no idea you felt that way.

I did basically tell him how I feel!! He just always thinks im being overdramatic when the shit he does really bothers me. Maybe if I beg him he'll spend the night with me but that's obviously not what he wants so why force him? & it makes me feel like I'm not even important, like he just wants me to cook for them & then they're gonna go have real fun.. smh like no I'm not just a piece of trash that you just use and throw away when you're done.. Make sure you tell him that's how he is making you feel. Guys sometimes just don't get it. Try telling him again and if he continues not to care then tell him I'm going and that's final and see what he says.

just make sure you aren't naive to thy red flags... especially this being the first birthday he's had with y'all being together. In that alone, I assume y'all haven't been together too long so keep in mind the tone you set in your relationship now will definitely have an effect on the future.

loved what she just said. that is totally true. compromising has to be on both ends of a relationship. so communication is the key sweety. i get taught alot because im dealing with an older man so he teaches me the game. you both need to be mature about the situation and come up with an agreement @marie_xo m@babycasey

yeah, he wants to spend the day with me & his friend wants to take him out that night. I say just spend the whole day & night w/ your friend. He's not trying to compromise & I'm gonna let him enjoy his day the way he wants. But trust me when I say this changed how I feel about some things with us. no problem hun. but never let your man put u as second fiddle its ok to give him his space but he also needs to realize your time is more valuable then his friends especially having a family together. it should be u and him against the world. not everyone is perfect but if they arent willing to change let em go. my man used to hang out with his friends every day after work it used to break my heart. but i gave him an automatem its either me or you want to be free to just do u. sometimes you have to show a man what he has in order to wake the hell up

and it sucks that i had to grow up so fast i talk as if i was older. i experienced so much in my life already when it comes to relationships.
