well how long does a contraction last?. some of mine seem too long

It's different between a bh contraction and a labor contraction. Bh contractions last longer as to labor contractions are shorter sharper and more repetitive.

@karinagrace, it's confusing because they are getting closer together and I've been timing them since 4 am idk

How apart and long are they?

@karinagrace, they started off at 20 mons apart, then gradually went down to 8 now it seems like they are going back up to like 1 mins apart and the length is varying some are a minute and some are 40 seconds. Maybe it's just false labor

yeah I'm going to labor and delivery. Their getting closer and I'm having bloody show my Dr wants to evaluate me

@karinagrace, they checked me not dilated. she said false labor. So hopefully these contractions go away or turn into the real thing because they hurt

Deep breaths and lots of water or even try a warm shower/bath
