I NEED TO VENT
when I was 8 my mom moved me and my sister out of this tiny town in Arkansas to a city in Oregon. She felt it was better for us that we would have more opportunities. She moved us away from my dad's side of the family. my dad who didn't want me until I had his grandson. anytime anything happens they don't tell me and it breaks my heart! my uncle had a heart attack today. had to have 2 Stents placed and I found out on face book. just because I don't live there doesn't mean that I care less. it hurts to be part of a family that forgets I exist. now I'm crying trying not to wake up my kid

Aww you should definitely let them know how you feel and the more you reach out and just say hey how you doing the more comfortable they will be to just message you randomly and say it back its like breaking the ice

I talk to most of them on the regular. I Skype, txt, call...all the time. but the min something happens...i don't exist

that sound like my biological family didn't keep in contact to tell me mom mom was sick only met her once and the next thing I here is she did in surgery due to something that went on,I would deff ell them your like to keep in touch n knows what goes on

I've had that conversation with them. "just because I moved away doesn't mean I don't care" "just because I moved doesn't kick me out of the family" they don't care
