How much do/did you ladies feed your 2 week olds? My baby girl is currently drinking 2 ounces but lately she cries for more and I give her another ounce. I'm strictly breastfeeding and I pump in between feedings so I know my supply is where it needs to be but I'm still concerned on how much is too much for my little one. Also she hasn't taken a poop in almost 3 days and it bothers her at night to the point where only swaddling helps keep her calm. Is this normal and what can I give/do for her to help settle her tummy and get her bowels moving again?

About the poop situation maybe contact her pediatrician today when they open. And she could be uncomfortable from not pooping and just eating in comfort.

You can't over feed a breastfed baby. Don't worry about how many oz your baby is eating.

Babies do "comfort eat" & could over eat & make their little tummies hurt so I would give her gripe water, it works INSTANTLY for my baby..he poops right away & it's all natural so that made me feel better about giving it to him. He was 2 weeks when I gave it to him first. Also, when he was 2 weeks he started eating 3 oz every 3 hours..& he's strictly on Breast milk as well.

breastfeeding babies can go up to 10 days without having a bm but always ask your pedi if there is any concern.

Ok thanks everyone for the advice, I will be trying the gripe water but in the meantime I'll call her pcp for further information
