Why would you need to get induced If you're only 38w ?

i got induced at 38 weeks so things happen

my water around baby was low. so they induced me there are probably other reasons why woman may have to get induced at 38 weeks and its perfectly safe because 38 weeks is full term

@mumof2, where you dilated when you got induced? and how much did your baby weight?

no i wasnt dilated but i did dilate once they induced me and contractions started. my baby weighed 6lbs 11 ounces and was in labor for 8 hours

@mumof2, I'm 2cm dilated, but we'll see what happens at my appt tomorrow, if they are still low I will get induced
